Have you checked out the Honda Ridgelines?

I have. I think they're overpriced for what you get and the Maverick actually has more rear seat space IIRC. If I were to go with the cost of a Ridgeline I would just get a mid-sized truck.

We're in no rush to buy with the way inventory and prices are right now.

With the Maverick, it would be a third vehicle as I'll always want to have a mid-sized SUV for roadtrips. I would be surprised if Ford doesn't release either a PHEV or EV version of the Maverick. This will just be an around town vehicle so it would make sense to go with ev if it happens, even if we only get 2wd in that drivetrain.

I agree, I would bet Ford is working on an EV version of the Maverick.

well Jeep ruined that comparison for 2023

No more Trailhawk unless you get the hybrid now, and it looks like none of the other Grand Cherokee's have an off-road package available anymore. Looks like the Summit Reserve is the only one that now has the eLSD and only with 21" wheels and no more quadra-drive option for the Overland, and no 18" wheel option, 20's only. The 4xe Overland lists an option for the off-road package and eLSD though so it seems like if you want off-road features in your Grand Cherokee for 2023 you better want to pony up for the 4xe trims.

They pretty much neutered the whole lineup aside the 4xe's
