Yes, Tahara is a big deal.
Looks do not matter to me, if it does what I need, I will like the looks, too. But sloping windshields suck in AZ. I greatly appreciate my 4R lack of slope so I am not dealing with the sun baking me through the windshield.
Seems like zero offroad improvement (and don't try to tell me otherwise because of the 33" tires).
Efficiency gains: small in the big scheme of things and perhaps partly offset by complexity. Incremental improvement: nice if I needed a 4R, but I already have one, properly modded, too!

Me? My son's dreams of getting my 5th gen and me getting a 6th gen did take a big hit LOL. He will now start pushing the Rivian R2 idea
Which is probably more likely in 2-3 years than this 6th gen 4R (since we would still have a 4R available to beat up in the AZ desert and other places too tough for air suspension and too tight for a shiny new vehicle).
