Likely a deal breaker
My use case is 2nd row folded for dog bed, gear/cargo in the back. Mine is like that 99.9% of the time. I find the sliding cargo tray very useful.
I do like the body style and front cabin, great they support 33's. Larger infotainment screen is nice, not sold on longevity of "lcd" instrument panel, but if it's configurable that would be cool. Could have gone back to spare tire holder on the rear and freed that space up, but most buyers would find that annoying.
I get the raised rear for the hybrid but otherwise way too busy with the plastic cupholders, should have left it blank with some mounts so people could configure as desired.
Did I also see the Overland model have the air and an outlet facing the interior? How are you supposed to use with a drawer or gear packed in?
Also disappointed that built in or optional cargo management (tie downs, drawer/slide mounts are MIA). Did anyone from the product team actually go camping? I am also not a rooftop fanboy just so you know where I sit on that fence. Prefer a trailer or tent and cargo box up top.
Planning on waiting for mid cycle refresh anyway so hopefully they'll make some adjustments, but the seats are likely a permanent problem because of the underlying TNGF platform tradeoffs.
