Possible 2025 4 Runner Delay - Page 2 - Toyota 4Runner Forum

I am a toyota employee and we can officially order the 2025's 12/16. They have us on allocation so I think only 100 for employees, but not sure. I just picked up the 2024 Tacoma TRD pro. Only had for about 3 weeks but the engine is fine. The fuel economy is 15/16 city if you use the battery as much as possible. Have not been on highway yet.

So 12/16 is the date all Toyota dealers will be able to submit their 2025 4Runner orders?

Employee orders don't line up perfectly with dealer orders. IMO, dealers will be prioritized over employees due to the big lull between 5th gen build out and 6th gen SOP.

I see. So dealer orders can be submitted even earlier than 12/16 in all likelihood?

They are probably getting their allocations early next month with delivery in the month following.

I am not on car side. I am on finance side. However, I would think dealers get to order earlier, but not much. The Tacoma I ordered was the hybrid engine, so it was delayed. I was able to order on March 15, 2024. However, they only allotted 10 orders per month for us on the TRD Pro, so I did not place my order until May 16. it got to the dealer in early to mid november. They are also allowing the 2025 Lexus GX550 to be ordered on 12/16.
