Hey I have a 2010. When I go to checkout it does not give me the option to select the 2010 year. Should I just put that I have a 2011? Are we 100% sure it will work on the 2010?

Yes, the kit for the 2011 and up will 100% work for the 2010. We just had about 50 4Runner kits get picked up this morning, we are getting caught up still as our kits are all hand prepared. Thank you guys so much, you all rock

Just ordered mine today, had nothing but problems with your competitors kit, can't wait to get your kit and install it!

Just finished installing my unit on a 2019 sr5+. Pretty easy install and working great so far!

Just need to install the hood pin kill switch, which I will probably do down the road when I run some other wires through the fire wall.

Is the hood pin kill switch also plug and play?

Kind of.

Basically you need to find a spot in the engine bay thats grounded. So pretty much anywhere on the chassy (you might have to sand off a little of the paint). Then run the include wire from the switch through the firewall into the control module. It comes with a plug and wire needed to set it up.

How it works is when the hood is open it sends a ground signal to the control unit which disables the remote starter. When the hood is closed it pushes the pin switch down, and there is no longer a ground signal going to the control module. Its not needed but a good safety feature for you or anyone working on your vehicle.

Thanks for the info, I have plenty of ground points in the engine bay, just wondering how it connects

Installed mine on my 2014 trail this past weekend. I got the version with the extended range remote which has been nice. It's working great. Beginning to end was probably around 30 min - very easy. Super happy that doesn't kill the motor when the door is opened.

For anyone using a push start model, what have you found the range of the factory remote to be? Just curious if I would really need the extended remote, and would rather not have another fob. Or any reviews of the smartphone start?

Could have sworn that everything I saw said there were 2 plugs and no OBD2 plugs, is this a new feature or is the smart key the only kit that has 2 plugs?

mine had 3 plugs, one of them being OBD II.

Looks exactly like one on right in the opening post. 2019 SR5 Premium with a standard G key.

Flashing red while installing H key remote start

I'm trying to install the accessorides remote start on my 19 4runner limited, it's the push to start kind and the module is just flashing red, has anyone encountered this?

Nvm, I just sat in the car for a while, tried again and it worked )

BTW how long did it take for you guys to receive the email to activate the smart start?

Ah ok, I was always looking at the one on the left, I think that's the push to start. No big deal since the one I'm removing is 3 plugs as well, was just curious thanks

Installed my remote start over the weekend and I'm very happy with it compared to the piece of crap that I had from the competition. Removing the old unit took way longer because I had it ziptied in nice and snug, installing the new one literally took 5 minutes tops. Happy to be rid of all the weird gremlins that were driving me nuts with the last unit. Very happy with the Accessorides kit so far!
