Why is there no Tundra site like this??

I hope I am not getting outside of the box, but why isn't there either a seperate site for the Toyota Tundras or a section here for other Toyotas like the Tundra?

I was pretty sure I was going to get a Tundra over a 4Runner only because I need a truck. I feel like even though sites are centered around a particular vehicle (4Runner) the manufacturer and information about them (Toyota) should be shared on the same site. Usually people will by the same brand, different models and general Toyota discussions would be beneficial.

Also, I realize these sites are not free-but aren't the banner ads and other ads on the site supposed to offset costs? I ask this questions becuase TS solutions (Tundra site) charges for admission to the site. I don't agree with this-but it doesn't matter what I think--the TS people will not even reply to an email I sent them with questions. Pretty sad commentary on their part.

Anyway, Is there a decent place to go to see candid opinions and feedback about the Tundra??

PS--Pitbull --it's your fault that I am douubting myself now---just kidding- Thanks for the heads up!
(About posible problems with Tundras)

you can visit ts for free as fas a I know as I haven't paid a penny to them.

they do have a tech forum that is only for paid members but i don't see the point in it as you can retrieve that information elsewhere.

good luck

If this was a Toyota sponsored (paid for site) I am quite sure that there would be separate sections for the different models but it is what it is and that is a 4Runner site. I am sure you will be able to find a site out there for you.

Tundra owners are just snobs! 4runner owners are more down-to-earth type of people.

This site was started for the purpose of specializing only on the T4R, however I think it's reasonable to have a seperate sub-forum for all other Toyotas and Lexus vehicles since many folks who own T4Rs may have questions about other vehicles in the Toyota family. Therefore I just started a new subforum entitled "All Other Toyotas & Lexus Vehicels". Enjoy

Please remember that Rule Number One also applies to comments about other forums - this is intended to help prevent cross-forum flame wars - thanks

GatorGreg,

1st, Thank you for creating the sub-forum. I appreciate the effort.

2nd, I have to admit it when I am wrong and I am doubly wrong here. I shouldn't have listed the TS forum by name with a complaint-especially as my complaint was without merit-- you CAN in fact go there without paying. You can go for all but the subscriber status and there is no charge. I was mistaken and I should have had my facts in line before criticizing the other forum.

Thank you again and I apologize for my oversight.

Joe
