Good advice especially since you're in CA. I really don't want to go through the trouble of dealing with engine swap legality. Thanks paddlenbike!
Well this should be no surprise to anyone by now.

Even your donor is an auto? Per the rules of your garage, you must manual swap it before scrapping it.

Aww shit... what if i use the automatic parts for a manual swap?
Think about it... I'll shave down the auto pedal and put a clutch pad on it, no difference probably between that and a manual brake pedal...
LOL it may have an automatic shifter but there's nothing under there, just a linkage without a purpose.
If there's anything, this car was the first I sourced a trans for, so I have a lot of the manual trans stuff separately... shouldn't swapping the good Supra be enough? haha

So besides the dash, what are you using the parts car for? haha

Here's my list of parts I'm keeping so far... many parts for future keeping in case. Parting the rest with the intention to put profit funds towards a motor build.
Dashboard
rear crash barrier (mines dented from a fender bender)
entire core support
headlights, folding mechanisms
blue interior and panels, interior screws, clips, covers
trunk and hood struts
and any other random parts I may need along the way

A very good friend of mine has the same exact car (but his is a stick) and it's very modded, to the tune of 500+ HP at the wheels. The car is an absolute blast to drive on the highway, but it's not much fun on the back roads because the turbo is too big and takes too long to spool up. He doesn't even get any real boost until he's over 4000 rpm.

Awesome, sounds like he must have a pretty big turbo on that thing. Yeah it's a definite cruiser, highway star, grand tourer... can't wait to get this thing built and on the road!

Found a manual brake pedal - just need a clutch master and slave and the hydraulic system is ready.
I found a really good deal on craigslist for a couple of the wheels I have been wanting - Enkei RPF1 18x8, +35. Two for the price of one pretty much.
I only have two so far, but since it'll be a while, I'm in no rush to find others. A couple on craigslist right now I might look into, 10.5 width... those would make nice rears.
Coilovers would really set this thing off.

Oh no, you can't get rid of those awesome white wheels.

I agree about the wheels. I actually saw a white Honda with white wheels the other day and it reminded me of how awesome your Supra looks with the white package.

Haha I can see your guys point of view on this, although it is the size of the white rims I'm not fond of. I get an unspeakably killer deal on 18" tires (most of the tires we deal with at work are 18"), it is just too hard to resist going up in size. These bad boys are nice and wide, lightweight to boot. After all I really want to go staggered (can you say WIDE rear end? )
As for the white rims, AKA "sawblades", I'll keep em around. I think they'll find a good home in storage. I don't have the heart to sell the original wheels.

ARP head studs for 7MGTE, brand new
Latest photos of my parts car... gradually taking it apart. Took the headlights out, using one of them for my 87 4Runner turbo which has a burnt low beam.

I have had a few mkiii supras and just a suggestion if you are gonna stick with the 7m look into a 5m oil pump and bigger pickup line. I think driftmotion has a kit for it. I have been out of that scene for a little while. my last one was a 2j swap and I was happy with it completely. made 426 to the wheels on the stock 440cc injectors.

never mind apparently they are upgrading the 7m pumps now, it's something to look into. I was never a fan of less than 8 psi of oil pressure at idle
