04 Land Rover Discovery II
Just figured I'd start my build thread here since the LR forums are pretty lame. Nothing to crazy going on with it, just a little bit here and there.
I've already got some parts on order. Ordered a 2" Terrafirma lift, 265/65/18 Falken tires, and all the paint I need to paint the wheels graphite.

Of course the lift I ordered had to be on back order until the 8th. Plus I had a minor procedure last week that's going to keep me from installing it for at least a couple weeks. However, I did receive all the paint I need for the wheels, and the new tires.

Nice, I really like those discos, but they are just way too expensive for me right now.

They're not that bad to be honest. I also had a trade in and cash in hand so the deal got a little better.

The lift is finally here!
Terrafirma 2" Shocks
Terrafirma 2" Springs
Dupli-Color Wheel Paint
Falken Tires x5
I ordered some steel to build a new platform in the 4runner yesterday. If that shows up I'm working on the 4runner all weekend. If not, I'll most likely be working on Rover lift.

Put the 2" lift on yesterday and it went pretty smooth.

After:
I'm getting the tires mounted this week, and then I need to paint the wheels.

Easier to take the Rover with the new tires in the back. Kind of hard to haul 5 wheels with tires already on them, and 5 new tires.

Dropping to Rover off tonight, and getting the new tires mounted tomorrow. I'm hoping to get started on the painting the wheels this weekend.
Another project is getting ready to start on this as well. I'm adding an aluminum cooking area to the rear door. Stay tuned for more on this.

New tires are on, and I'll get a picture of that up tonight.
I've already moved onto the next project. I'm building a cook area that will be mounted on the rear door, and it's going to be build from 3003 aluminum. This is the first section, and the main section that'll replace the original interior panel. I still need to cut out where the handle is, and drill all the screw holes. This took me around 2 hours to cut out and sand.
This section is from 1/8" 3003 aluminum.

Installed the rear panel. Now I'm planning for a fold down table/storage that hold/house my camp stove. I'm also going to mount a flashlight, fire extinguisher, and fuel canister on the panel.
