07 Camry Kicking Ass!

A must read! One of the quotes.

"The V6 Camry makes the dash to 60 mph in less time than a recent BMW 330i did, it was nearly as quiet as a Bentley Flying Spur at idle and wide-open throttle, and its 22 city/31 highway EPA fuel economy rating matches that of a four-cylinder Honda Civic Si. Pretty impressive stuff to say the least."

Make all the sarcastic remarks you want. The Camry has just raise the bar that ALL other manufactures will have to try and reach!

I'm not being sarcastic. I think the new Camry is much nicer than any of the earlier generations.

It does look odd at some angles, though. And the grill is horrible on all models except the SE. IMO, it should be blacked out on every trim level.

The new Camry is a damn nice car. My wife had one but it was an 01 with a 4 cyl. and that was even so damn quiet and went pretty well for a 4 cyl. great gas milage too.

I think the Camry is an excellent value and I agree has raised the bar for other's.

I've always preferred the Accord over the Camry... until now. The Camry has a great style that looks good in base and sport trim and a rippin powerplant.. with 30mpg! From a recent review, C&D's only issue was the traction control being a little too intrusive. (gee where have we heard that before). I'm sure there are new Camry owners disconnecting brake sensors somewhere!

Nice as the 2007 model is, our 1997 V6 Camry is still running fine with only about 53K miles on it. At this rate, it will last us forever!!

And it has one feature that the new ones don't have -- it's paid for.

Well our daughter now has our 1992 XLE w/179K (built in TMMK - although with a competitive paint system) - and it still runs like a top.

The wife does need a new car though.

Really is amazing how many older Camrys you see on the road. Shows how well-built they are.

i'm so glad they changed the camery the way they did. i felt like toyota owed their consumers a good vehicle after that last ugly model. it seemed like they where chasing the honda accord for a while, in terms of engine size and power. the accord always had more horse power. now with this 3.5 268 hp engine, toyota owners can have something, other than reliability, to brag about. now if toyota can do something about that camery solora...
