Good Job on bringing it back to stock, looking good man.
No hurry, don't rush it, but I think we are waiting on the paint. Btw Did I miss the post about what color .?.
my opinion would be pearlescent white.
Looks good during the day and Really good at night. Just seems to fit it since white is the original color. Also, after all this work, I would keep that thing.

I do indeed: COB's '89 Supra Turbo
I just started the motor rebuild on mine, let me say that pulling a 7M-GTE was one confusing mess of hell, lol.

Fast and the Furious paintjob is in the past, thankfully!

The car is actually already pearlescent white, and I hate it, lol. Too over the top for me.
The white will likely be a nicer two stage rather than the original single stage, but nothing crazy. I like it simple.

COB thread lurker here, LOL
I have to admit, I LOVE seeing stuff like this. Returning her to her former glory (STOCK) is certainly great to watch. I personally can't stand seeing everyone "rice out" their car, but hey, it's their car, who am I to judge. But, when I see an older car in great/perfect and in stock condition, I have mad respect them (over the ricers) b/c they care enough to keep their car in the condition they are in.

: You are doing an excellent job on this and your '89 Supra. Keep up the awesome work and thanks for sharing!

Definitely agree! Stock form versus some 90's kid's dream of being a ricer is no contest... haha. I hope this thing will look like an original car when it's done.

Hmm... well maybe it wasn't riced, but it was neglected. I felt for it and gave it new life. See here: COB's 87 4Runner

Alright gents, time for an update. If you like this thread, don't forget to check up on my 89 Supra, currently going through an engine rebuild: COB's '89 Supra Turbo
After reading about the OEM 5x7 subwoofer, I was curious why mine must not be working. Popped the clips from the carpet and unscrewed the cover... that'll do it! Ordered one from eBay.
OEM 5x7 subwoofer!
Wiring and insulation from a MKIII supra speaker box. Perfect fit.
The car has a bad pull, so I paid our alignment tech a visit. The toe was terrible up front. Thankfully, the car will soon have a new matching set of tires.
Unfortunately, it appears the third brake light has some burnt LEDs. Oddly, the number of burnt LEDs doubled while the lights were held on. The burned out ones on the left side stopped working on the alignment rack. I found another tail light for sale.
Replacement LED tail light. Strangely, when I was testing the new one, I found that the old one seems to be working on all LED's again...
keeping this as a spare.
