I think I'd sell the MkIII and keep the MkIV, but that's just me lol.

Dude thank you so much for turning that Blitz car into a beautiful MKIV Supra again. I really don't get why people do the whole body kit thing? The most amazing, gorgeous aspect of the Toyota Supra MKIV is the fact that you can't spot a single square or sharp turn on the entire car. It's curvy and magnificent and beautiful. To throw some square-ass wing and body kit on it is blasphemy. You did that car justice converting it to what it is now. I love your effort.
Are you coming to SIV this year? Big Supra meet in Vegas during October 8-12 or something like that. Come and let me buy you some drinks.
Sorry if I seem overly sentimental about your MKIV. I just love them so much.
.... and I've had a bit of Jameson tonight.

I blame the Fast and Furious movies for blowing that up.

Best of luck finding one... I didn't expect to own one on such a budget, too hard to find them as it is.

Exterior, yes. Interior, mostly. Engine/trans, within reason.

You're all good buddy, haha. The car has a long way to go, although leagues ahead of the body kit scene. Funny, guys will PM me on other forums showing me their MKIV's... a lot of the time I have to hold myself back at how terrible certain things look (sideskirts are a big one). IMO Toyota had it right and it shouldn't be messed with.
I've had a couple invites to SIV, initially to take the MKIII, though now I'm considering going with the MKIV. Just the idea of a ton of super nice Supras and my shitbox (by comparison) gives me a funky vibe. I picture a bunch of perfectionists with 100k into their Supras giving me shit about my cracked windshield and stock motor.
Probably just me though. The trip could be fun.

Thanks bud. Yeah, the whole Paul Walker death really pulled a lot of people back into that scene, too.

The 17" wheels on this car look much better with the proper tire..
Before, the front was on 215's...
Continental Extreme Contact DW 235/45/17 and 255/40/17
Pulled the speaker boxes, removed the harnesses from each, and plugged in a set of 6" Blaupunkt speakers I had laying around. Sounds SO much better, even if they're still just alright speakers.
Just added:
Crash bar
A/C condenser + dryer
bumper brackets
Overflow tank
Just removed:
Zip ties and similar nonsense
1 foot of extra wire from each turn signal
Realized someone spliced in what looks like a 1980's Toyota Pickup horn... on the list: horns.
A/C condenser bolted in. Smashed up cooler lines need to go, those are zipties I added (only ones I've put on the car) to keep them from smacking the ground until they're replaced.
Overflow tank installed. Previously, no overflow at all, just the rubber line pointed at the ground.
Adjusted the fender and hood gaps, located the side parking light wires (which were cut, need to find pigtails and plugs now), and reinstalled the front bumper properly. All is well in front clip-fitment world.

Supra has been having an issue at WOT around 4200RPM, power loss. Still chasing that one down... suspecting the second turbo isn't properly engaging. Going to test out the true twin setup and see if perhaps the second turbo solenoid is acting up.
The first round of new OEM parts has been ordered. The brand new fan shroud I received had some damage, so the Toyota parts dept is checking on a better looking one tomorrow. Will post pics then.
The restrictive catalytic converters have been removed. 3.5" exhaust with 2" cat... WTF.
This ones even worse... entire section has been replaced with a 45 degree mandrel bend.
Air flow loves stuff like this!
Falling on hard times doesn't even call for this
Exhaust goes from 3" stainless to 3.5" HKS Super Drager.
20% tint all around, the summer heat is too much on the interior. Much nicer than the purple bubbles it used to have.
New fuel filter... under the car is very saturated with ATF from a power steering pump leak. The old fuel filter was the original with the car. The undercarriage will be meeting a steam pressure washer soon.
Front bumper mounting bracket between the headlights
Hood seal
Rear bumper mounting bracket
Hood prop grommet
New hood prop stay
93-96 black driver's side window switch panel

Awesome progress James! SIV is just a month away! Hope to see you with either of your Supras there. Unfortunately neither of my Supras will be joining me this year but I'm still going for the festivities. SIV is an amazing time you never want to miss. This year should be the best yet! Lots of big names making their way out. Really looking forward to the drag strip action on Sunday.

This build is too much. I just LOVE it! You're awesome man! May I ask how much you paid for the car when you bought it and how much you've put into it so far? Also, all the stuff you do to it at work: is that free, or do you have to pay? When you paint it, do you just have to pay for the paint or what's the deal? Sorry if this is too nosey, but I'm interested in doing stuff like this when I buy a house next year (apartments SUCK!).
