Your first car ever!
We want to see what your first car/truck was. If you don't have a pic, google one and post it so we can all see how good or bad it was. Mine was a 1989 Ford Festiva. Her name was "The Peanut Car" and she was SOOOO bad. Ground clearance was a joke and she was always breaking down. But I was 16 and had wheels, so it didn't matter too much then.

First car ever: 1994 Honda Civic DX
Here's my first car! 1994 Honda Civic DX aka "Kermit" in what I believe was called Aztec Green. Bought it used from the original owner at about 120k miles, drove it during my college years.
It had a lowered suspension, at least an inch, maybe 2. 5-speed of course. Huge furry fake-sheepskin seat covers. Fuzzy dice. It was a glorified go-kart but it got the job done!

1998 Volvo S70.
Worst car I ever owned. And I owned an Isuzu Rodeo. Bought it with 30K and it was already burning oil. Sold it 4 yrs later, greatest day of my life. If memory serves, this was the first model refresh Volvo had after being bought by Ford. It showed.
But then again, I was a teenager and the constant breakdowns ensured I never had to make it home by curfew.

My first car was a hand me down 1984 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. It was a couch of wheels. V8 (HT4100......... 130hp and a major pile of crap). I miss it though, though not a lot. I swore Cadillac off for the rest of life (I don't care what they had then, now or in the future........ kind of like Jeep. I will NEVER own another one).
Technological MARVEL!!!!! LMAO. Honestly, back in the early 80s, it was pretty cool.

I had a white 2000 Mazda 626 just like this.
The funniest feature is the air vents. The button in between them is the "swing" button so they swing back and forth from driver to passenger lol. Cool idea until you live in Texas and you're constantly secretly silently begging for that vent to come back your way

First Car Ever - 1982 Toyota Celica GT
My first car, bought with money saved up from several years worth of summer jobs, was a 1982 Toyota Celica GT purchased used from a local Honda dealer.
This liftback model had the 22R 4-cylinder engine generating 96 hp. Mated to a 5-speed manual and RWD, she was a lot of fun to drive.
My car had no air conditioning, no power locks, no power windows, no airbags, no ABS. It was very easy to work on for any maintenance or repairs. I did upgrade to the Supra wheels as seen in the photo (having found a decent set in the local auto wrecker's yard).
Been with Toyota ever since.

Very impressed with your many years of Toyota loyalty! That's a pretty cool first car.

I miss it. Toward the end (before it was sold to my uncle), I didn't care about. A good example nowadays goes for big money ($5-9K). So, yikes indeed!!! LOL

Technically, that's a Wagoneer XJ. Same thing though. My first was an '82 Full Size Waggy.
Never drove it much, it was more of a project vehicle. Still have it and been trying to get rid of it for years. Ha.
