FJ40 Ratrod

I want one!!!

1976 Land Cruiser FJ 40 Hot Rod | Cool Material

Allers Rods & Customs is a South African shop that knows their way around street rods, hot rods and muscle cars. And while we like a lot of their projects, we’re absolutely in love with this 1976 Land Cruiser FJ 40 hot rod. To be fair, it’s pretty hard to screw up a late ’70s Land Cruiser, but Allers has taken the platform to a whole new level by rat rodding it. Built for the South African backcountry, this beast includes an in-house front suspension, widened wheels and diff from a Land Rover Discovery, seats from a Wrangler, Lexus radio, Momo steering wheel, roll cage and the list goes on. The end result is a ride that’s equal part hot rod and Land Cruiser while also being completely custom and absolutely different.

I hate it. Abomination.

However, it looks like they did a really nice job with it.

Not my style but good work and looks awesome. It's in south Africa, prices might not be as crazy as the USA. The way they built it wouldn't be hard to put the fenders back on and lift it.
