T4R owner considering a 2nd car—family minivan?

Right now my fleet consists of my '97 SR5, and a not-so-great '05 Pontiac Montana SV6. The wife and I are looking for a solid, dependable minivan to tote around our 3 kids. Long road trips and maybe even a move to Colorado are in our near future. We think we could maybe get $2k for the Pontiac private party.

I'd love any recommendations and/or testimonies related to your experience with these uninspiring—yet utilitarian—vehicles.

Our budget is probably in the 12-16k range. Have always heard good things about the Sienna, what with the AWD option and all. So figure'd I'd start there.

Also have considered the Honda Odyssey and more recently the Kia Sedona.

Any feedback would be appreciated!
