My buddies wife put his taco in 4x4 on the highway for 150 miles

So my buddies wife had to drive his '13 Tacoma for some reason and it was raining a little bit outside. Not pouring, sprinkling at most. For some reason, she put it in 4Hi, and left it in there for 150ish miles, going 75. He called and told me and i myself know next to nothing about working on vehicles, so i just told him to maybe get it checked out in case there was significant binding damage. Any advice?

If it works fine then you're good. Maybe a little extra wear but if it still drives then there really is nothing to check.

There is no speed limit for the 4x4 drive train no matter how far or fast you go.
There is a speed limit for engaging it, 45-50 mph if over that you'll hear a buzzing
from dash and it won't engage. No worries.

Likely just some wear and tear. No biggie!

Had a buddie break an axle in a big Ford P/U (F-150, 250, 350?) on a hunting trip in Utah. He/they pulled the rear drive shaft and drove it out.

Know a guy who busted an axle in sub-Saharan Africa. The pulled the axle and welded it in the village communal cooking fire.

Used to be, 4Wheelers knew these "things".
