What color inside and out? Have you replaced your radiator?

mgm, black interior, have not replaced radiator but will watch it closely. Bought cpo with 28k on it. Is there a design element of the new radiator i could use to check if mine is the old one?

Wow…what a find!! You have the old one. It did not change to the new design until mid 2018 i think.

You also need to put marine grease on the KDSS Allen screws. This is the one area that gets rust easily.

Very familiar with KDSS, I also have a 2012 TE with KDSS and 237,000 miles on it by me.

The underside of my 200 has zero rust anywhere, everything looks brand new. I snatched it up before the dealer even had photos, got really lucky. Truck is amazing. Night and day driving difference from the 4runner. Both great though!

Will be interesting to see what Toyota releases for bringing LC back.

300 series exists as LX600, but no LC since cancellation

Some rumors that it will be similar to the announced GX550, which is being considered a 250 series. The interesting thing is that the GX550 dimensions appear to mirror very closely the 200 series whereas the 300 series is overall larger.

For those buying used, part of the reason for price difference between LC and LX is production volume. Around 3k LC sold for any given MY whereas 6k+ sold of LX for similar MY. More available, and LX were often babied by owner. Biggest difference aside from cosmetics is suspension. LC is traditional + KDSS. LX uses AHC which is actually a hydraulic system. It's proven to be very durable and impressively maintainable. Generally set and forget aside from fluid flush ~60k miles and accumulator replacement ~120k.

Nice part with AHC is you can gain an inch+ of lift with a 10mm socket. Height is controlled with sensors. Takes about 10 minutes to change sensor position to gain height etc.

The new LC information is being released today.

Toyota to debut 2024 Land Cruiser Tuesday at 9:00 PM EDT: Watch it here - Autoblog

It will likely be a much better off-roader now...lighter and smaller. I suspect it will have a lot of the same offroad tech but lighter is a big deal. I'm curious to see which motor options it will have.

My Dad loves his 200 series. Such a well engineered and designed vehicle. Should last him 30-40 years easily. I still daily drive my 80 series, it's 28 years old and drives as smooth as butter still.
