wiper on off switch very tight - how to loosen?

On my 1999 Honda Accord, the on/off turn nob for the wiper blades is very tight. I have tried oiling it with no success and was wondering if there was a way to take it apart and then oil it. So far I have not found a way to take it apart using google. Any sugguestions?

Hopefully the attached pictures of the control knob works

Good luck trying to get that apart. No grease is going to "loosen" that. It's basically plastic rubbing against plastic. Over the years, I've sure the plastic has hardened. Easiest solution: Go to ebay or any honda parts online store and look for it. I've had a similiar issue with a control staulk on my 05 4Runner and just replaced it. I know it's a tiny "problem", but it was bothering me to no end. Best $115 I ever spent.
