Rav4 navigation/dvd setup

Merry Christmas everyone. I know this is a 4runner forum but I think like me you guys own other toyota besides 4runners

I got my wife this ebay headunit for christmas, installed it this morning .

I was iffy about buying it since it wasnt realy a name brand, but from the sellers feedback everyone that bought one similar was pleased.
So for the price I figured it was worth a shot.

And wow this thing is better then I expected.

The navigation is easy to use , the ipod plugs right in, it charges aswell and songs display right on the sceen.
The sound quality is wayyyy better then stock ( still using the stock speakers).
The bluetooth works great, realy like a oem setup from the dealer.

The screen is good quality and very responsive .
Wiring was all plug and play no BS.

Heres the direct link I bought from, the seller was asking 350 and the time and I made a offer of 340 w/ shipping and he accepted.

The only Con to the unit was I had to drill a extra hole in each of the stock mounting brackets.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170549024078&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT

Here are some pics of my unit.
( camera phone pics but you get the idea)

Enjoy !

What is the mini-USB jack/port used for on the lower right?

The fit looks good.

The reason I asked is I haven't seen a mini to mini USB cable. Usually the mini-USB end is on the device itself and the host typically has a female USB A port.

They do sell the cable, some of the cheap mp3 players use it (or at least used to )

Some devices like flash drives or certian mp3 players have a regular usb port. And you use a usb to mini usb cable to plug into the unit.

I wont be using it, but I guess its good to have.

I liked this unit so much, I orderd one of the sellers universal double din units for my 99 4runner . Hope its as good.
