NEW PRODUCT! Rock Sliders with step plates for 5th Gen 4Runner

Hey everyone, now that C4 Fab has a sponsor forum, we are officially introducing our bolt on rock sliders for the 5th gen 4Runner. These sliders have some unique features that you will not find anywhere else.

Sliders fit 14+ SR5, TRD PRO and Trail Edition/KDSS with no modification. They will also fit Limited models if all of the rocker panel plastic trim is removed and all of the XREAS components are removed from the frame rail. They will also fit 10-14 SR5 models if the rocker panel trim is removed.

Slider legs are welded in at a 45 degree rotation to allow them to slide over rocks without getting hung up as easily. With 4 legs per slider, they are some of the strongest on the market!

Slider main tube is 2x3 rectangle tube. This gives a wider main tube surface for more protection and a larger area to stay in contact with rocks or other damaging objects.

Outer tube is built at a 25 degree angle to allow your 4runner to easily slide away from damaging objects.

Outer tube has a kick out at the rear, but this kick out is different than you will see anywhere else. It doesn't return to the slider in a hoop shape. This creates a slightly larger usable step area towards the rear of the slider. It also creates a look that stands out from other sliders on the market.

The most unique part about C4 Fab's sliders is the step plates. Even though the outer portion is built at a 25 degree angle, the step plates still sit flat. The step plates also utilize dimple die'd holes that protrude up to provide a step area that your shoe or boot can actually gain traction on! This coupled with the steps sitting flat, gives the most functional and usable step on the market.

Sliders are 100% bolt on.
No drilling required.
All mounting hardware included.
Sliders ship raw steel.
Available with or without step plates.

Please visit our website for pricing. C4 Fabrication | Off Road Toyota Bumpers | Metal Fabrication

Any reason you don't partner with a Powdercoating place and offer a PC option?

Honestly if you are going to use the sliders for what they are designed for then you're going to want to be able to touch them up. It's not a hard process, quite cheap compared to PC, and you can easily touch it up in the future. Check my build thread for a write up on what I used and how I painted the sliders.

Here are some shots of the c4 slider on our rig (we painted it "storm gray metallic" from duplicolor)

Day we installed them

Couldn't agree more! I love the ability to get back from a trip and be able to touch up everything if needed

here are some shots of ours when we were painting these sliders

Below: 3 coats of rustoleum black sandable primer (lightly sanding in between coats and using a heat gun to help speed up the curing process)

Test fit before the color and clear coats were applied (also to see how black would look)

Enlisted my old man to be our model =p

After the 3 coats of black primer and 3 coats of dupli colors "storm gray metallic" and 3 coats of Rustoleum Glossy Clear Coat

Next day color matched the wheels to this color... so ofcourse we used the sliders to lift the rig

I do currently work with local Powder Coaters, but so far there hasn't been much interest in having the product coated before it ships. Like Styer said, many people like to have the option to touch up and paint match easily on their sliders. We may start offering PC option in the future if we continue to get more requests. Of course this will also raise the price of shipping and handling since they will require more padding and boxing time if they are Powder Coated before shipping.

Thanks for the reference Styer. I agree that if you actually use the sliders on obstacles, its nice to have the option to quickly and easily touch up. But there are also customers who dont wheel their 4runners hard enough to really beat up the sliders, a PC option may be good for them.

I really like these better than all of the other options I have seen. Will they fit a '10 Trail without KDSS or is there a reason you left this model out of the applications?

Thank you! To be honest the reason the '10 TE is not included is because i have not been able to test fit them on one yet! Does the '10 TE have any of the extra low hanging plastic on the rocker panels like the '10 SR5 does? If not, technically they should fit.

Nothing on rockers, only metal. Thanks!

I would like to start offering these sliders to as many different models of 4runner's as possible. Time and the availability of a vehicle to build them on are my main restraints right now. I will be jumping in full bore on a complete product line up for the '16 Tacoma's starting in a few weeks. That being said, it will be more towards the middle or later part of the year before i could get a 4th gen into the shop to start designing sliders.

The sliders should fit then! If you could send me just a few pictures of the frame rails on both sides from a side view that also shows the rocker panels, i should be able to determine if they will fit the same. You can email the photos to caleb@c4fab.co Also if we determine that they will fit and you are ready to order, you can use coupon code "fargo4x4" at checkout on the website for 10% off!

I will, but it will be this weekend to get the pics. I'm up in Wisconsin without the Runner until Friday. Thanks!
