LED Headlights
I have driven a car that had 6000K LED Headlights. The headlights were great! I have a 2014 4Runner. I am looking to replace my standard headlights with LED headlights. Some LED headlight models have you put in a separate LED drivers for the bulbs. This seems like a lot of work.
There are some manufacturers that offer a simple H11 headlight bulb. You simply take out the old, standard headlight and put in the new LED bulb. However, when shopping for these, they says these LED bulbs don't work for Japanese vehicles since "Due to led bulbs draw much less current than stock lamp, this bulb can work most cars without flicking or error code, but for some newest type or Japanese/European cars, it may require load resistor to avoid hyper flash or malfunction. "
Is this true? Does anyone has experience with a simple bulb one-for-one LED replacement?
