Are there usually trucks/suvs/4x4s out at the Cars and Coffee event?

Yes, there are usually 20 or so land cruisers and classic FJs. It's a really diverse car meet. It's definitely not your typical rice meet! I stay well clear of those.

Off topic I know, but does anyone in the Charlotte area have a SWR meter so i can tune my CB antenna? I could just go buy one but I figured I would see if I could use one for 10 minutes and save some cash...

Do you know if this thing is rain or shine? We're supposed to get dumped on this weekend.

The meet itself is always rain or shine. But given the forecast, I don't think I'll make it out there. We'll plan something else in the near future.

I'm down to meet. There's also the Carolina 4Runner group on FB that we could invite too.

New Transplant
Hi everyone. Recently relocated to Charlotte from Miami, FL, and looking forward to some trail riding.
Anyone know of, or interested in organizing, a meet up with any of the local groups? Guys at 4WP told me about the FJ group, but I figured I'd ask here as well. I'm getting some new shoes (KO2s) on my TE this week and looking to get them dirty.
