Crap! Well I know they make one in a 33 inch, I'm new to the Toyota crowd and was trying to find a ratio tag on my rear axle and couldnt find anything. I have a 91 4runner, Sr5,3.0,5speed,4x4. If someone knows before I figure it out.

Here's mine with 265/70-17's (31's ? )...four turns on the torsion bars, and 1 inch spring plates in the rear. I'm considering a spring with a higher rate or air bags to keep the ass end from sagging when loaded on trips.

You can adjust the front end to raise it lower? Sorry I'm new to the yota world, the rear springs were replaced with beefy ones for towing, the front dips 2 inches, and I have 31's with plenty of room . Is it easy to correct the front?

I used a floor jack to level the front with the rear (to take pressure off the torsion bars), then put four complete turns on the adjustment bolts each...leveled the truck without a load on the rear. Align as needed.
Keep in mind the use of the vehicle. If you will use the truck off road and need the extra wheel travel so as to not bury the tires in the fenders...than a formal lift (four inch?) will suit your needs much better...I use mine on the highway for snow trips mostly, so huge wheel travel is not the intent.

front is 1.5" ball joint spacers
rear OME coils
rims 15x12 tires 33x12.5 federal mts

as for your gear ratio its probably 4.10 or 4.30 look on your door vin tag.

I like how you did yours...I wasn't aware of "spacers" etc., and will order mine within a couple of days. Still going to look at the air bags just because I haul the weight...

yeah either air bags or do a leaf spring conversion. the OME coils werent that stiff but i would have preferred something a little bit stiffer.

7point3 yeah it was a 1.5" ball joint spacer and i believe my torsions were cranked maybe 2 turns? you could actually fit 33in tires stock but you would probably rub. mine rubbed cause i had 15x12s if i had 15x10s i think i wouldnt rub at all

This site will help you with your axle code.

Gearratiosanddiffs

Edit: reading back, some one already posted the link. My bad.

I vote ball joint spacers in the front you level your ride out. Leave the torsion bars alone, turning them will give you a harder ride and less articulation off road.

Lift would look good but isn't necessary to run 32 or 33x10.50's.

i found all the spacer kits on ebay, im not amazingly keen on twisting my torsion bars unless they were upgraded ones.

is anyone aware of any legal issues with the spacer kits in Australia?

Not sure of the legal isses, but if you add the spacers, dont tuen the bars. They are meant to be a replacement to turning up the bars.

wabfab also sells good spacer/coil kits.

Im also with devon on this one. Lift only as much as you need, helps keep your center of gravity as low as it can be.
