Power Door Locks

Hey Everyone,

I have a 95 4Runner and when I attempt to use the power door locks only the rear doors will lock and unlock when pushing the button. The front door locks both move a little bit, however they do not unlock or lock, the nob just moves slightly as if it weren't getting enough power or not catching. Anyone have this problem or something similar? Could it just be that the latches or whatever need to be reset, or is this going to call for replacing the actuators? Thanks to all for your help, I'm a newbie when it comes to the 4Runners and I would like to start learning this vehicle.

You might try removing the inner door cover and lubricating the linkages.

yea, my passenger front door does the same thing. I have tried pulling the door panel and spray it down with silicone, but it didnt work. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.
