Need to install Wiper Fluid Reservoir/Pump

T4R'ers,

I need to install this before my roadtrip to M'boro TN. I have the donor reservoir which includes the pump. However, I don't have tubing or know the routing.

Can anyone offer any advice?
Photos of tubing routes?

Thx,
Jon

You can go to your local auto parts store and get some tubing. Routing should be self explanatory. Route the tubing on the passenger fender and to the hood. Use a "Y" piece to divide the tubing to each sprayer on the hood.

Where are you coming from? I'm about an hour and a half up the 24 from mboro. I'm in Clarksville, if it's on your way I'll give you a hand with it if you need.

Good news: The reservoir is in and pumps as it should.

Bad news: One of the 'squirters' is screwed up. On the underside of the hood, one has a 90 degree tube attached to a black stem (and I've connected it) but the other is missing the tube and stem. My guess is it's been broken off. Is this a common part I can get anywhere? Or is it specific to Toyota?

TIA,
Jon

It's been so long since I scrounged the parts from my BIL's old truck that I'd forgotten I'd also taken some tubing. With what he gave and what remained in my truck I was able to run the tubes (except as described above).

Tucson. About 1670 miles. Plan to use 3 days. The intention is to get this particular issue fixed before the roadtrip.

I also plan to install an Audiovox aftermarket cruise control. We'll see how that goes. I have the same unit on my Honda motorcycle and it works great.

Thx,
Jon
