It really is amazing and clean. he even used a pre 84 truck with no tripometer hole to cover it. Tinted just like the factory sc400, this is what it looks like when finished. Man, so awesome. I need to do this on my 89 chevota.

Lates update is the chassis is going to powdercoat this week. To have them media blast it and powdercoat it is around $350 so plenty worth it to get a perfectly painted frame. Engine heads are being built this week, Kelford cams looked awesome and the engine internals looked baby skin smooth @ 98k miles! I bought a used car trailer to haul this baby around, I figured Chassis to powdercoat, back to the engine shop, body shop to engine shop, engine shop to performance shop for ECU install would suck in cost, so instead of spending the money on that, i bought a trailer to use, refinish and resell and make some money on it.

I give a rip. I know its years later. But I have 89 with a sbc 350. I bought it that way. But i really would like to do another swap and go toyota v8. So your posts are very informative and inspiring. I saw a similar thread but your getting alot more descriptive in my opinion. So thanks for taking the time to post this build.

I have recently bought a 1990 4runner (VZN130) with a 1uzfe in it.
It has the 1uzfe auto trans and IFS.
I don't have a user manual so I can't see how to get it into 4wd ?
It has manual locking hubs on the front, but how do I get the 4wd going ?
There is the auto gearshift and another (assuming transfer case lever) with H-L on it.
That's it. There is a green button on the tunnel next to the two selectors which I gather is ECT ?
Can anyone advise ? Or have links to a user manual ?
Thanks !!!

I don't think a user manual will help as it will all be custom. Post a pic of your setup in a new thread and we might be able to help. If the green button is an aftermarket item then i'd say that will be your push button for 4wd.
