Oil Pan off and Found Pcs Inside

Take a look at the pcs that were in my oil pan. The blacks pcs are some type of plastic and 1 metal pc with threads. Very weird to have a plastic substance in there.

What could these pcs be?
Does the engine look clean to you?

I could not find anything missing when i looked inside.

The timing cover looks new. I didn't ask when i bought the runner because the cover looked so clean like it had just been done.

Better to catch it now before it wears a hole in the cover. You have to take everything off the front of the motor and remove the valve cover. I would go ahead and replace the water pump and timing chain cover while you are there and get the chain replacement kit with the metal backing on the guides.
