Front/rear differential fluid, trans fluid and transfer case fluid change 88

Do the capacities and weights listed here: 4Runners.org - Changing Your Front, Rear, Tranny & Transfer Case Fluids
apply to my 88?

Also in some threads I've read that transmission fluid is suposed to be lifetime unless you tow but then I see other threads where people are changing it? (5 speed)

The 4runner is brand new to me so I do not know if these fluids have ever been changed (i hope so) but I want to change them to cease all doubt. The truck itself shows no signs of these fluids needing to be changed but I'm still going to do it.

The Factory Service Manual in the stickies up top will have capacities for your rig, but generally speaking you fill the diffs and tcase up to the fill hole, then oil starts coming out and you can't fill any more.
