1990 4Runner 2 door - 1UZ-FE V8/5 speed swap.
Hey guys,
I was told that y'all might enjoy my on going project.
Here is my coveted, albeit beat up 1990 4Runner 2 door, with a 1993 Lexus 1UZ-FE V8, R150F swap.
This truck started life as a 22RE, A/T.
Here is the Build-Up thread I started on Yotatech.
Dunkin's 1990 4Runner 2DR Build-Up Thread - YotaTech Forums
And, a couple of videos to share too. Damn, I love the sound of this engine!

It could be considered a 3rd gen, if you count the Trekker. But, I am with you guys, its a 2nd gen 4Runner.
Thanks for all the love guys!

I've heard you have to use a custom bellhousing, to the tune of like $800 to run a manual 1UZ. That true?

I hear it's more spendy than that. I hear around $1200, but that's what I hear. I haven't looked into it.

Yeah I figured. What if I wanted to keep my auto transmission? Know of any places that make adaptors?
