That's a really good looking 4runner you have! You need to go get some dirt on it and take some real pics

i dont see why it wouldn't work, but im not 100%, i was just really bored on a rainy saturday morning. I had to take out the heater core for the rear and re route some hoses, but in the end, i really enjoy having the cup holders where they are now than before.

That is absolutely a sexy ride you have there! Love the idea as well!
2 Q's:
1.) the tail lights, where did you get them, I want some!
2.) Door speakers, how the hell did you make them fit?? I wanted to do 6" door speakers but thought I'd need to build them out to do so. What kind are they, and any mods needing done?

Gotta have wing windows so the window doesn't hit the speaker when it's rolled down.

that console looks GREAT, if it was the same color, it would look from the factory and no one would know any difference, great job

thanks...
the tail lights are just sprayed with nite shades, you can buy this product at any autozone or local parts store.
I just bought new replacements, wanted more of a oem look on my lighting again.

yeah if i only knew it was going to fit the way it did, i would of bought a different color, but its an option to anybody else if they wanted to buy one for some reason.... I just happen to have it lying around.I really like it though, it doesn't look out of place.

^^ just make sure they are good quality, some ebay stuff is pure junk and a waste of money... looks good in pics, but when you get it at your door step, it's pure crap!!
i dont mind paying a bit more for quality stuff that ill be happy with in the long run.

Any chance you can post a link to where you bought your console? I did a quicky search but couldn't find one that looks like yours.

so, no more rear heat?
or did you fab it back in somehow?
losing the rear heat is a dealbreaker for me.

you can buy it at cj pony parts under 68 mustang center console, they have many different colors or you can get one on ebay under 68 mustang center console in the search... tmi is the company who made mine.
I'm sure you could somehow re- use the rear heater, but i never use mine at all, so it didn't bother me none taking it out. I did a quick job on it, i have yet to mount the the back window switch onto the console.
