That runner looks really good! Too bad you're selling it, you know you want to keep it

I'm starting to think about keeping it... someone tried to trade me a Supra today. His description had me really excited to see it!! Until I actually saw it.
The car was piece of SH!T! Been in a few accidents, poorly repainted a few times, mismatching spoiler, over spray, bent gas door. Was broken into, had an electronic boost controller and acrylic timing cover stolen. Seats looked like sh*t, wiring looked like sh*t, 3" HKS exhaust was dented pretty badly.
The worst of it: Steering rack bracket was broken, so he welded the rack to the subframe. Subframe moves every time the wheel turns, bushings are bad all over. Asked him why the shifter was so loose, turns out it used to be an auto and he ghetto swapped it. Exhaust leak from cyl 6 between head and manifold.
fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck that. I'd barely consider trading the stupid Probe for that.
Here's the car.
Front end was hit. Different bumper (used to be red), painted over the VIN's on the front fenders. Bumper lip was almost broken in two.

Rear end was also hit. Bumper also used to be red. One of the wheels was badly bent in more than one spot.

Auto gauge cluster.... turns out it was a swapped manual. Says it was from a junkyard MKIII that had been rear ended. 90k on the trans when he got it. The shifter bushings felt like they had 200k on them.

Wires running through door jamb, ghetto ass seats (all 4 torn), broken bits here and there.

I'd raise your offer with 2 Free Tacos with purchase of a combo at Jack and the Box coupon.

The car is at least worth a movie ticket stub and some pocket lint. Give him some credit

ROFL!! You guys are hilarious, haha.
The interior of this truck isn't too bad, but it's certainly seen better days. I went around with some Loctite epoxy and fixed as many problems and brittle plastic cracks as I could.
The door switch was broken from the door panel. Now cleaned and properly mounted.

The center console was the worst part. It had a lot of cracks and was seriously nasty. The lid was also busted. All cleaned and fixed!

It's a good thing this has that hideous red interior, or I'd be seriously thinking about it right now.

Don't forget the disco ball and fuzzy dice hanging from the mirror.

I thought about the disco ball but came to the conclusion there was not enough head room.

If you still have that around tax time then I may just drive down there and grab it from you. I'm going to be buying the wife a DD after taxes.
You've done one heck of a job cleaning that runner up!

Sweet score! Glad to see you saved a great truck form the crusher. Nice clean up work, too.
