Routine summer maintenance for road trips (Am I missing something?)

So I have an annual road trip coming up next month that involves 8+ hours of driving in each direction. So I am wanting to triple check my vehicles capability before hand to be safe. As i have only owned the vehicle for a year now, i am constantly learning more about the trucks health. In the last month I drained and replaced the oil, trans. oil, radiator coolant. Replaced the front brakes from rotor to caliper. Did platinum series spark lines and plugs, new distributor. Oh and a new cv shaft, and did an engine shampoo.
But alas. I feel like i am missing something... What else can i do to maintain my vehicle and insure it will power through another summer of fun? I am thinking mainly about my engine. Not sure how to assess where it is at. It has 264,000 and isnt leaking oil. I just wanna keep it that way

If you don't know when's the last time the rear diff fluid was changed, now would be a good time.

Yes, timing belt and water pump were replaced by the previous owner within the last 2 years. That is fairly recent right? Fourwd Yeah i changed the trans case when i did all my fluid changes, and my brake fluid when i did the front brake assembly.
Now Kidvermicious, you are defs right. I have no clue when the rear diff fluid has been changed.

All good suggestions. Also make sure to check the specs on the end line for the rotary girder. Safe travels on your road trip

rotary girder
1.a term used when a person is refering to something technical about which he has no real knowlege.
2.often used in a response to the question "What were you doing?"

Originally used in the movie "Tommy Boy" with Chris Farley.
1.Q:"Hey, do you know what's wrong with my computer?"
A:Yeah just a second I think there may be a problem with the rotary girder.
2.Q:"Dude, what the hell are you doing?"
A: Sorry, I was just checking the specs on the rotary girder.

Yes for sure check this

You forgot to check and replace the blinker fluid. Toyota FSM states that it must be replaced every 150,000 blinks.

Here's the link to the auto parts website where we buy it- http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main...products_id=22
