1992 4Runner "Premium Sound System" issue
Hello all This is my first post here, I just bought a used 1992 4Runner with the "Toyota Premium Sound System" or what ever they like to call it(Its the double din stereo with CD/Tape/AM/FM), anyways, The screen isn't working in the head unit, I really like the sound system, But the screen issue with the stereo may just force me to upgrade. The stereo/tape/CD functions just fine, with all the back lights working well. But the screen wont come on no matter what I try, any suggestions? Much appreciated

The screen is normally wired so it won't come on unless you are stopped with the parking brake on to prevent viewing it while driving. I wired mine to a switch on the center console along with a switch for the backup camera.

Is the back up camera aftermarket? it doesn't seem like something to come with a 1992 model, but if that's true for the screen, that is the most paranoid radio design ever.
