Cool For those with different tastes...

Trail-Gear's 4" SAS with their flexible leaf springs all around. Added a 3" 4Crawler body lift for engine/header clearance. The shoes are 35" BFG Mud T/A's. Yeah, it's taller than I would prefer, but the flexibility of the springs helps keep it upright, allowing the wheels to stuff or droop further over obstacles (instead of tipping the truck too much). It's proven itself to be quite capable so far.

From blazeland. $1387.60 taxed, core, shipped. that is including the $200 core. i wont be sending me old stuff back. since his shipping cost was around $70. i would only be getting like $130 back. oh well. than i got some t-100 axle from O Reilly. i got new ones since there is no core on new with my discount for $59.99 each. $129.46 taxed. than i order Bilstein 5100 # BIL24-185745 $162.74 taxed with $10 off coupon. free brake fluid, alignment, and labor for install *ME*
$1387.60
$129.46
$162.74
my grand total $1679.80

i sold my old set up. bj spacer, sway bar drop kit, and front OME shocks. so it will bring it down a few bucks

you did 4 inch front and rear? the front isnt higher since you had to install a 1inch drop hanger? im looking to get trail 4 inch springs all around for my 82 but not sure if i should get 5 inch in the rear to level it out

I'm having to go on secondhand info here, because the PO did this part of the build, and he told me it was 4" front and rear. This is what I planned on doing to my old stock truck, but I got lucky and found one with the exact kit I was going to get already installed, so I was able to skip that part of the build. I cannot confirm if both ends were the same, especially with the weight of a V8 up front now. As for what effect their springs would have on a 1st Gen, I'm the wrong guy to ask (all of mine have been 2nd Gen's).

total chaos front end, sway away t-bars, coil spacers in the rear. 31" tires (for now). I just picked up some fiberglass fenders for this thing, in the process of painting them now....

Thanks. That was our NCTTORA run at Uwharrie National Forest during July 4th. The red one is my brothers. It's the red 4runner on East Coast Gear Supplies website.
