That's a big truck. You need a stepladder to climb in?

31 bfg's, no lift

I did crank the torsion bars a dozen turns or so. Got it up to 13.5 inches wheel well to rim.

had a nice break-in run, no issues other than the unsurprising revalation that the shocks on the old goat a mere representations of shocks, rather than actual working parts, Washboard roads reveal that sort of thing. rear springs are a little sad too... a toddler, a dog, and a small woman had the goat riding nose high in a hurry.

I'm new here and I just got a 1991 4runner that's all stock. I have 31" uniroyal laredo's on and I'm looking to put on a 2" lift. I don't need anything fancy or expensive just a good reliable suspension lift that won't break or fail when I try off-roading. If ya'll could help me out that'd be great. Thanks.

Ball joint spacers and OME coils, but why are you lifting? You should have plenty of room to stuff 31s.

I figure here is a good place to stick a pic in of mine just sitting still.. No poser or flex shot; just simple... Its on 37's, I always say it a 6" lift but after all is said I'm guessing its more like 8"?

Nice traction! I don't think I could park on a vertical slope like that. ;)

Sure you can! We do it all the time... You just have to step back and look at the big picture! With true north being in the Artic, I simply parked facing North on the side of the World! Lol.. Wish we could spin pics after the fact on here.. Its finiky uploading from a phone!

I'm trying to decide on how big of tires I want to put on my 4runner. How big of tires can I fit underneath of it. It's stock height and has 15" wheels.

33s with fender trimming, 31s completely stock.

33x1.05 will fit better than a 33x12.5....

Thinkin' of going 33's for a little while, to see if I really wanna build the runner before I spend lots of money I wouldn't get back.

The ideas that hit my head were narrow 33's, regear to 4.88's - probably buying a locked 4.88 rear third used, BJ spacers in the front, new lift springs in the back.

Anyone ran a setup like this, or a similar one? I honestly love the way 33's look, on anything.

I'm currently running 33's with a locked 4.56 diff.
