Question 2nd Gen - Central Locking / Keyless Entry

Hi,
I did a quick search to see if this had already been covered, but didn't see anything. Forgive me if this is a duplicate post.

I'm in the process of installing a central locking kit into my '95 model RV6. I've got wires run into the A & B pillars (going to have to drill holes to get from there into the doors) but I'm wondering if anyone has any photos or a write up for where they have placed the actuators in the doors? I know the back ones have to go closer to the door handle to avoid being in the way of the windows, but I'm hoping that someone is able to post photos to show exactly where they've mounted them.

If no one has photos etc, then once I get mine all installed and working, I might write one up.

If you want, I had my door ripped apart today because it wouldn't open, I can take a pic of where the actuators are for you, if that helps.

most people just have that system installed i have a appointment to have mine done next week on my 96 and total with remote start and key less entry was 155$
most of the time you just wire into the factory locking switch at the fuse board. its quick and cheap and works.

I actually have to put the actuators in the doors.. That's the problem I've got. The wiring part isn't the problem, I've got it all sorted.

you dont need actuators.
you just hook into the power lock switch relay.
if they sold you a kit with actuators and told you that you had to have them then you got taken

Your missing the point.

I don't have central locking/power locking to begin with. It's a complete install. I can't 'hook it in' to something that I don't have.

Well.. Finally have a day off and good weather on the same day.. So the actuators are going in today.. About time too.. Gets annoying trying to unlock the car while standing in the rain Haha
