Toggle switch on a condenser fan?

I was just wondering if anyone has ever hooked a toggle switch to their condenser fan? I think that it might help cool down my radiator. Does anyone know any problems that I might run into with this? I would like to know how you did it, and I would also like to know if it made a difference for the ones that did do it? Thanks

i would think this to be a bad idea you will just wear out the ac compressor clutch and have ice build up in places you dont want like in the dash it can cause all kinds of problems.
my vote is to not attempt this.

wait what?

if its just the condenser fan the AC shouldnt engage. if the clutch was on a toggle it could certainly overcool and freeze the evaporator.

No worries there, the a/c does not work and I have no intentions of fixing it.

Fans draw a lot of current, you'd want to use a relay to control the fan and a switch to control the relay.
Just like wiring a set of aux lights.
