T4R 1st gen engine rebuild

hello,

I'm the owner of a 1989 SR5 V6 T4R, 3VZE. great car but it has a problem: the engine demands a rebuild.
I'm not in the US but I am able to order parts. What aftermarket engine rebuild kit do you recommend? I want to order the parts nl longer than monday (3wks shippment )

thank you in advance,
Edward

Its all about the parts you break, and the friends you make.

Have you thought about getting a low km engine from Japan? Might be worth picking one up from there, since kms tend to be quite low and maintenance is mandated. If your going to oem parts route, stick to Japan made stuff (asian, sumitomo, etc...). I've used Auto Parts at AutohausAZ - OEM Auto Parts - Discount Replacement Parts, Resources and Car Care Tips (no affiliation) , but not a bad idea to stay away from the aftermarket china made stuff they sell. I've noticed over the years, oem japan made stuff is starting to disappear. So , you might have to source from multiple suppliers for a complete rebuild.
regards

well... the engine has more than 500.000 KM, it leaves behind a lot of smoke, has no power...

swap isn't an option. a lot of money and full of surprises
