95 4runner, Headlight Wiring Harness problem

So I recently purchased new bulbs for my headlights and a few days after the new bulb burnt out my Headlight Wiring Harness. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do? What would be the cheapest as far as fixing this problem. Mahalo

You mean it melted the wiring? You have any idea why?
You can cut out the bad part and splice in new wire.

Yeah just go to your auto store and get the H9 connection (i think its h9) and some butt connectors, wire it right in. Mine melted a while back and had to do the same thing. (I was using cheap bulbs)

First , I would clean the electrical connectors. Then , check for continuity through the circuit/harness. It's also worth cleaning up the grounds and testing them. The salt air there in the islands can be murder on these old trucks which had modest rust proofing. Jealous, would not mind being in the islands (Maui) right now. Best of luck.
regards
