Where to Mount a Handgun in a 94 Runner?

Don't care if it's hidden or not, I was thinking of mounting a holster under the steering wheel assembly, out of plain view, but not hidden. Any ideas?

That's a good spot or on the side of the console is also a good place.

It's pretty tight between the seats and the console on those, especially when you figure in seat belts--maybe right on the back of the console? Or on the passenger side of the console, in the leg area?

We kinda held it up there for S@G purposes, it can be tight. I like the drive shaft hump, but it pretty visible there. It's my kids Runnner and he carries a S@W .40 or a teeny tiny pocket .380. The .380 fits right up there under the steering wheel but I don't want to tear thru any wires when we install it. The Runner is 250 miles away in Flagstaff right now so we're just talking about it....

My P89 fits perfect up under my steering wheel in my 4th gen. I just used a clip on IWB holster, nothing fancy and it works. I'm sure you can do the same or similar.

I haven't permanently mounted it yet, it's holding just fine with the belt clip. But if I were to permanently mount it I would use rivets. Here is a quick pic
