Stop showing me this truck. Everytime I see a pickup with the bed removed I want one. Will you put in a platform for carrying some stuff, and where will you mount a spare....kwel and stylish style on the rear slant of the toob?
And also everytime I look at that front bumper, the more I get inspired to flatter you by imitating the design..

Thanks Can runner. I got my inspiration from this one! So id love to see what you come up with! If I could find a cheap ( I really mean free) bed I would run one again. Nothing like beating a full bodied truck down a buggy trail.
From a club in august 2011.
Lower window bar on! Had to trim the hood a bit to get it to open and I have a tad bit of passenger side wiper notching to get it to go all the way down, but its position was good. Then moved the upper window bar down 1.5 inches. Helped the look alot. Last for the night was the center roof bar.
The sliders make an excelent platform for doing roof work.
I wont be able to get back down there but these guys are gonna finish the roof bars and hoop x. As well as some other braces and gussets. Then its back up the hill for finish welding.

I didnt make it down there last night as predicted(20" of snow and a front wheel drive car dont mix well) , but the guys sent me this.
(picture is taken as if you were standing where the bed would be)
Coming along nicley. I think they are doing the rear hoop x tonight, then I its pretty much done.

Back up the hill, we pulled the exo off with the excavator and did the finish welding and primered it.
Bed floor will be some sort of expanded metal, or some thin plate.
Ive got some other issues to deal with too. Need to adjust the front bumpstops, and my passenger side valve cover is leaking and either the clutch rubber line or the slave or both are leaking too. But I should be able to fix those pretty quick.

Nice. My GF asks about my runner all the time, she wants to learn. It's so cute.

It really is. Haha. She can hold her own in a conversation (and often knows a little more) about off-roading and more specifically Toyota's. Probably because I never shut up about it. Haha.
Shes just as excited to wheel again as I am.
You know what they say. I liked it so I put a ring on it.
