leg room 2nd gen

recently got a 2nd gen 4runner and i cant believe how little leg room the drivers seat has. My wife had 2 3rd gen runners and although i didnt drive them much i dont remember leg room being a problem. MY 85 ext cab and 88 reg cab have almost 4 inches more leg room.
Are the seat tracks differant from the runners to the pickups? if anybody knows if i can get the seat to go back farther with a pickup sliders. thanks

im 6 foot and every toy i have driven was never a problem that is why i was wondering if the seat tracks were different on the 2nd gen. it wouldnt bother me to loose the rear seat behind the driver to get the seat back a bit more

I'm 6'2" and have enough room to drive with military style danners on.

I sit almost as close as the womenfolk do... so I've never noticed it
