'89 low mile value... insurance etc

Picked up the '89 V6, 108K miles, family friend (original owner). typical 'Old ladies car). never went over a year between oil changes (with many receipts). Timing belt changed @92k and recently had the intake opened up and O-rings, plenum etc addressed. V6, SR-5.

Not even a hint of rust and interior is in really good condition as well. I like the gen one but not sure my body can handle it as well as a gen 3... and we want to tow a small camper over the sierras to the coast a couple times a summer. May look into a 3.4 conversion or may sell/trade for a nice gen3.

Also want to insure it appropriately as NADA is $3-4k (?)!

Taking that what I am saying is accurate what fair value would you put on this rig? I've seen them from $3500-12,000+... but nothing with less than 150k miles.

I've had multiple 8k plus offers on the rig in my signature, one guy would've gone higher but I swiftly tell anyone looking to buy my truck that not even 25 grand will get me to sell. Its mine forever. My odo reads 129k right now. So I'd say around 6 to 9k for yours to the right buyer imo.

good, solid input. I really like it and it will likely be in my stall for some time. I'll keep it stock with the exception of exhaust...have it permanently registered in Montana so smog isn't an issue...then 3.4 when the engine is worn.

Thanks

I will also check on the insurance... 8k sounds about right.
