How do you know if you need extended sway bar end links?
Like title says...I put a lift on, about 3" consisting of LC coils/BJ spacer.
Short of snapping and end link wheeling, how do I know?
And where do you get them for 2nd Gen if I do need them?

If it were me, I would just remove the sway bar. Unless you plan on racing through turns while city driving, you don't really need it.

If you want the sway bar to work right, the arms should be roughly horizontal. You can make your own, or buy them various places. 4crawler has them for sale I think.
But I agree with SV. Just take it off.

I'd consider taking the front of...but not the back. From all my research back is better on than off..no advantage on trails with it off and helps with body roll with it on.
Horizontal?? My end links are vertical..!!

You would want to lengthen the links by the same amount of suspension lift you have added (not body lift). So in your case they would be 3" longer than stock ones.

I had ours removed while installing a complete urethane bushing kit on the truck. The 4runner is scary to drive without sway bars on it, even at normal round-town speeds(loads of body roll, etc...). They add a lot of stability, especially at highway speeds and the truck is not even lifted beyond stock height. Granted, we don't off road so that would factor into our set up(full urethane bush kit, sway-a-way bars, etc).

Depends on driving style, I imagine. I drove my '86 with 1.5" lift and no sway bars front or rear, now I'm driving my '85 with 2.5" lift and no sway bars front or rear... you just have to remember you're driving a truck, that's all.

I have had my 95 4runner with 4" springs, solid axle swap and 37" tires on the road a couple times and it handles fine for me. I don't try to race it around turns but it does OK for city driving.

Yeah..no..keping them on. Drove around without and don't like. Guess I like speeding around corners. Suggestions on extended endlinks for rear?

you dont need extended end links if they are too hard to find. it be cheaper and easier to just do a spacer between where the sway bar mount to the body

You could try NWOR (north west off road). I don't know the cost, but they sure look nice.

Having it off-road will limit your flex. That's what it's there for.
There are some good suggestions above; bar arms should be horizontal, extend links or drop the bar to match your lift, but get disconnects for off road.

Yeah, front need to disconnect..rear was not to bad in flexing..definitely gonna remove night before wheeling for front tho.
