the console box looks sweet covered. the tC seats are really nice and snug.
Yes, I have a 1" body lift. The tires are 33x10.5r15s. I'll check the measurements for you. Just directly over the center of the wheel?

I love the voodoo blue. The rear CBI bumper is really nice, I can't wait to see the rack when it is finished.

You do some darn fine craftsmanship, friend! Very nice work on the console! I love it when people build completely from scratch, and when it's done, it looks like it could've been a factory option.

Yup. Top of center rim to bottom of rear fender. Should give me an idea. Did you move the rear shackle mount because the shackle angle looks a little extreme?

Drop dead gorgeous man. Love all the work you've done. And that center console is pretty sweet!

Yes, its a new shackle hanger. The angle is a little more horizontal thanks I had planned. I may have to redo them once everything else is attatched to the rear for the final ride height.

If all the mounts are in the correct spots. It could be worn out springs and a better pair could fix it. With all the stuff you have planned for the swing out. I think you should look into another pair of 63s

Nice build! Love the paint and graphics. Did you build or buy the rear upper shock mounts? I need to do something similar as the stock locations do not have the same spacing.

Those were made. I wanted to keep the shocks as vertical as possible in order to keep them effective, but not loose travel.

.
The wheel opening is 22.5" from center of axle. That's with the 3 leaf pack +overload and 5" shackles.

The bumpers are progressing well, and the skid plate is almost done also.

thanks for the info. that spare is mounted pretty high. blocks alot of your rear view. another tip would be to have in mounted on the driver side to help with weight. the fuel tank is already on the passenger side. plus this will help with a little bit of view when looking back. other wise the front and rear bumper looks sweet

Thanks for the input. My thoughts on it for being high are to keep the departure angle as great as possible. I could have lowered it a few inches, and gained some rear view at the sacrifice of dragging more while off road. I have tried to plan ahead for that, and I will be installing a camera and monitor setup for the rear(and other cameras too). I have it offset as the carrier will also be transporting more than just the spare.
I'll attach a couple photos to give an idea of the end game. Also, after I return from Colorado in July, the factory fuel tank will be removed. This will be relocated to the now vacant spare tire area by a custom built fuel cell. The goal is 20+ gal while keeping the clearance as high as possible. The reason for the large overall shape of the carrier is there will be a fold down table built in for cooking etc when swung open.
