Brake warning light flashes intermittently
OK, so back before my dad gave me is 4runner, he had to change the brake booster. I wasn't around when he swapped the parts out, so I don't know if he might of knocked a wire or something out of place but, the brake warning light on the dash now flashes intermittently.
I have looked under the hood around the booster and haven't seen any loose wires, and I pulled the sensor plug wire on the mastercylinder, jiggled and twisted the wire around and plugged it back in. That didn't fix the problem though. The brake fluid level is topped off, btw.
Does anyone have any ideas of what to maybe look for?

The booster has no wiring and nothing to do with the dash light.
If it's not the fluid level switch in the MC, the other possibility is the switch on the e-brake. Get under the dash and check it out.
It's at the end of the e-brake rod.

Mine flashed when the shift solenoids started going south. Then I got the brake flash with the O/D flash.

The alternator can trigger the brake light too, has the battery light came on?

That's correct, but the Charge light will be on at the same time.

If you're not losing brake fluid then I second the e-brake switch.

That's what I meant by battery light. Didn't come to me at the time.
