1st/2nd gen Interiors and Interior Mods Lets see them!

If this has already been a post, Ill delete it. I am always interested in the interiors of peoples 4runners, plain or not. Homemade fixes and mods are always fun to see, especially some of the craftsmanship!
Any way, post it if you got it?

First off I did some patch work on mine cause of rust

Then sprayed POR-15's truck bed liner down

Then put my carpet back in on top of it. I got a Cargo Caddy drawer in the back (old photo)

Found some SR5 seats and had them reupholstered. Also have a cheap Wal-Mart center console in there, but I'm gonna go back and design my own since I now have a welder.

Going to go back, redesign and relocate my switch panel too.

Hey how does that bedliner spray work to reduce the road noise from the rear...if at all? My rear carpet is out too...the noise is pretty significant.

Great work by the way, looks awesome in there.

I've spent a lot of time and $$ to keep the interior looking good and stock including the factory tape deck in my '87.

I almost have the wheeler interior back together, but it too will remain stock aside from a CD player and aftermarket seats. The only kinda mod I did was to fashion a pancake style holster for my 1911 .45 onto the drivers side of the dash by the stereo. The only thing I don't like about the stock interior is the lack of cup holders.

Has anyone replaced the gauges on an SR5 dash with mechanical ones, oil pressure, water temp, volts, oil temp...ect. I'd like to see pics of one done with a clean install.

I can you post a pick of your 1911 holster in the truck? I too carry a 1911 in my truck, but for now it just rests in the door pocket. I have always thought about attaching a holster on the right side.

It was the cheapest drawer I could find. I like it, but if ever my window decides not to roll down, I can't get to my tools to fix it. So, in the future I might fabricate my own out of metal since I got the welder.
Here's the site for the Cargo Caddy...

Thanks, it was a headache cutting out the rust and welding in patches since I couldn't find anyone who makes floor pans for these.

The bedliner didn't really reduce any noise. I mostly used it to seal the surface rust up. I was originally going to use Lizard skin spray on sound deadening, but it was more expensive than the truck bed liner as far as coverage in sq. ft.

Scion TC seats, a homemade center console, and a elevated floor in the rear for storage. The rear is not done yet.

I've got nothing but stock inside. It's in decent shape so I don't want to rip anything out. I would like to reupholster the front seat though, anyone know a good place to get that done?
