Unhappy '95 vibrating and weak running

to make a long story short i had a water pipe break and started leaking on me. I wasnt far from home so i drove back stopping everytime my temperature rose midway between halfway my temperature gauge to hot. so in other words when my engine was 3/4 hot i would stop and pour water into the radiator. I stopped about three times before i realized i had some slack on the pipe to cut the broken part off and still being able to use the same pipe. (fyi during the stopping and going the car drove fine it was just overheating). When i went to start the car after fixing the pipe and pouring water the engine started to shake. It turned on but it vibrated and wanted to die. I was only like a mile away from the house so i kept going. The car stopped overheating but the power of the car decreased significantly to the point of only reaching 30 mph. the last stretch was an uphill and at that point the car started to decrease in velocity and power. Once home i called a mechanic. he checked the spark plugs by taking them out while the engine was running. when he took out the 3 passenger side (one by one) plugs the engine kept going with no change, but when he took out the 3 driver side plugs the engine would die. he told me it was because the three pistons on the passenger side were not producing power for some reason. the mechanic didnt have much time to come by my house before i came back from school to my parents and now i dont have a mechanic. If you could please help that would be awesome. again the vehicle is a 1995 4runner 4x4 v6.

I'm just taking a shot in the dark here, but it sounds like the excessive heat might have damaged your p/s head gasket.
I think your mechanic was just unplugging the spark plug wires, but any way.
If you remove the plugs and let us know what the electrode looks like, that might help. Also please check the oil on the dipstick. It should be black, but might have water mixed in with it.

This is all just a hunch, so please dont get freaked out.

From my experiences with 4 runners, they all do that. Great trucks but a pain to get right.

I'll second zeaks opinion. Seems most likely, check out your coolant too, removed the radiator cap and see if there's any oil in it. You'll know when you see it it's obvious. Check under oil cap and also take note if there's any white smoke coming from the exhaust. Those are signs of bad head gasket or cracked coolant passage.
