Best brand of brake pads and shoes for 2nd Gen 4Runner

I'm looking for the best brand and/or quality of brake pads and shoes for my 1992 4Runner. Something that will benefit my truck and also be on the cheaper end (As for I am on a budget with this).

I'm not to familiar with types and brand when it comes to brakes and I do not wish to ask my local auto parts store because they are not reliable and constantly give me the wrong part.

What are some options that I should look into?

Thanks.

I'm using EBC Yellow Stuff for my front discs. So far they wear great, and great stopping power - even when soaking wet.

I also traded out my OEM front rotors for slotted cyro treated ones. Between those, and the EBCs I don't have any stopping problems.

I've also heard from other 4x4 owners that Hawk pads work very well.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will defiantly look into these.
These look great, but do they provide shoes as well? On the Hawk website, they only gave me brake pads and no options for shoes.

Do you have and recommendations for shoes as well?

Thanks, Brandon
