some 3.0l questions

Ok, let me just say, I shouldve taken pictures before I took it apart.
I am rebuilding an engine for 1990 toyota 4 runner a 3.0 v6
We took it apart about 2 months ago. The original engine threw a rod #1, hole clean thru the side . It ran though. We got another complete engine that threw 2 rods at the back, no holes tho. Now we are about to put the engine back in. I was was wondering if anyone has a shop manual diagram of the accessories. I might be able to figure it out anyway. I have the airconditioner bolted up already. did any accessories bolt up to the fan pulley houseing? I will also post a pic of one part I need to know where it hooks up.

Anytips on putting in the distributor, the haynes manual gives you a generic discription, yeah I know how to put one in its just finding the general area of #1

well I finally got the engine in. I actually figured out where all the brackets bolted up, man that was a pain. HOWEVER!!! I can't find the wire for the knock sensor. I have no freaking Idea where it got to. I have all the wires lined out and know where they all go.

Finally found you..

I'd been looking for someone who has rebuilt the 3.0 and here you are. I started taking mine apart a month ago, and with my limited knowledge of engine internals, i stopped at removing my cams. I've rebuilt a top end before, but not in a truck i need to drive every day. Was it worth it to tear it all apart? Or should i junk the project and buy something else? I love my 93'

93' runner, 5-speed, all-terrains, just can't get'er stuck

well being worth it is up to you . If you like the truck fix it. This isnt my 4runner I am helping out a friend. Btw I found out the connector was different on the knock sensor. I found the original and found the other end of the wiring harness. We still havent got it running yet. still have all sorts of sensors to replace. Probably have a couple hours worth of work to finish it.
