Northwest Trail Innovations plate winch bumper group buy!
Hello everyone. I was talking to the owner of NWTI yesterday about some rock sliders and mentioned this board. He was very interested in offering a group buy for his weld together winch plate bumpers to help get his product out.
These are a CNC cut 10 ga plate bumper with 5/16" & 1/4" plate for the inner winch mount.
Currently, his weld together bumper runs $360 plus shipping.
He is willing to do $20 off per 5 ordered of any generation combined. He offers them for 1st, 2nd and 3rd gens currently and has the 4th gen just about ready to go.
He also offers them with an optional tube grill guard and recessed light mounts. These options run $45 and he is willing to do $5 off on any combination of orders between 5-10 and $10 off for each set of 5 after that.
So basically the prices would be something like
1-4 ordered = $360
5-9 ordered = $340
10-14 ordered - $320
.........
Here is a link to his website with more information about his products.
4Runner
I am not affiliated with or represent his company and am not getting anything out of this. Just trying to help a small business get some ground in the industry.
If there is an interest in a group guy, I would be happy to organize or inform him to join the board as well.

Not a bad looking bumper, Its nice to see people bringing new product to the table. The 1st gen looks a lot better than the 2nd gen IMO, just because its thinner.
How many mounting points to the frame? Got an overall weight (EDIT: Found it, 95lbs w/o tubing) ? Would love to see a back picture to see how they are braced internally.

I will try to get some more pics from him later today as well as the info on the mounting points. I believe the "without tubing" is without the grill guard tubing so yes, around 100lbs total.

He said it uses all available mounting points including the tow hook holes and stock bumper holes. Im not sure how many points that would be on a 2nd or 1st gen since I have a 3rd gen. He is getting some pics of the bracing for me now and I will post when I have them.

Does he offer them to accommodate a body lift. I may be interested in one.

Ok answers to questions so far (pics tonight when i get home)
1. How are they braced internally? The center structure consists of 5/16" and 1/4" skeletonized plate and utilizes all avaliable attachment points.. (not sure what exactly that means since Im not a fab guy)
2. Does he accomidate for body lifts? Yes. Up to 2". Ad's 20 to the cost per kit.

I hadn't even heard of these guys. I absolutely would have been in on this if I hadn't just bought a Trailgear winch mount.

That'd be 10 holes total - the four holes for the stock bumper brackets, the two holes next two them, and the four tow hook holes underneath.

2nd gens are a little different. 4 bolts up where the stock bumper mounts to the body mounts, 4 across the front cross member, then the 4 for the tow hooks.

The 2nd gen ones would look sexy with some recessed led lights.

Funny, I just talked to him today about a bumper for my Taco.
I'm in for one, on a group buy, with recessed lights and the grill guard.
